Philippines have been gifted with astounding natural wonders spanning land, sea and air. Its people have learned to appreciate these gifts and cultivate them into a semblance of something more, something that would allow not only Filipinos but other nationalities as well to wallow in Philippines little treasures. One of these gifts is the rich aquatic life found in the country’s waters. Being a country composed of more than 7,000 island, Philippines is a hotbed for divers, snorkelers and other waters sports that would allow people to savor the islands. Also known as the “Pearl of Mindoro”, Puerto Galera has reached worldwide fame because of its white sand beaches, wonderfully shaped and colored coral reefs and dive sites that offer the best pictures of marine life. Accommodations are excellent and you will find welcoming niches for novice divers, allowing you to get into the spirit of diving.
Night dives in Anilao should be particularly seen because of the diversity of creatures observed when the sun has disappeared. There are a number of dive sites especially for novices, but if you’re an old hand in diving, there are others for you. Regardless, diving in Anilao waters offers marine life ranging from sea goblins, sea hares, ghost pipe fishes, mandarin fishes and much, much more!
